About the Cottage
We have endeavoured to make Little Bank a special place to stay. We think it is perfect to share with good friends. Different enough for a family with adventurous children or equally cosy enough for just two or even if you’re visiting solo. We have added some quirky touches and hidden extras which we hope you will appreciate. Our home is next door and if there is anything you require which you cannot find then please pop round and we will try to help.
The cottage sleeps 4 in two bedrooms. Equipped with Wifi and is centrally heated. It has a long driveway with parking for several cars.
Sorry no dogs allowed – A hard decision for us as dog owners ourselves.
Check-in is any time from 4.00pm, with checkout around 10:00am. There is strictly no smoking inside the cottage.
Your Accommodation
Sitting/Dining Room
Open plan living seats four for dinner, and the same for lounging on two comfy sofas. The log burning stove will ensure that the room stays warm regardless of the weather outside, perfect for warming up after a long walk, as you relax in front of the flat screen Smart TV. We also provide a good selection of books, magazines and games to keep you entertained, along with maps of the local area to help you in your explorations of the surrounding beauty.
This double aspect room ensures that there will always be enough light, with stunning views out into the garden and the hills beyond.

The modern well planned and well equipped kitchen will make preparing meals a joy at Little Bank. With many amenities, including electric oven with ceramic hob and an integrated fridge plus dishwasher, you’ll have no trouble cooking up a treat in this comfortable space.
At the end of your day, enjoy the warmth of the gentle underfloor heating whilst putting the kettle on, preparing dinner or maybe moving straight onto aperitifs!

Bedrooms
Both of our bedrooms have their own ensuite bathrooms which are equipped with walk in electric showers, and heated towel rails. They are stylish and simple, with attractive wood effect tiles on the walls and floors. They provide good overhead lighting and towels are provided.
Double Bedroom
This simple and well planned bedroom has a standard size double bed and is made up with high quality Lexington bedding.
There is plenty of storage available with a built in wardrobe, as well as a separate built in cupboard for miscellaneous items.
Light is provided by a Velux roof light, with a blackout blind.
Twin Bedroom
This well equipped bedroom comes with two standard Single Beds, made up with Lexington luxury bedding.
There is plenty of storage available with a built in wardrobe and cupboard above.

The Outside
The outside space has far reaching views, is spacious and relaxing and sits almost amongst the trees. A haven for birds – Woodpeckers, Nuthatch and Long Tailed Tits are all frequent visitors.
To the rear of the property Little Bank adjoins neighbouring farmland. In the summer months you may have sheep and sometimes cows as company.
The garden contains:
Planted deep garden border. Gravelled and wood chipped areas.
Good sized wooden table and benches.
Small metal table and 2 x chairs.
Old wooden Sleeper bench – perfect for your early morning cuppa.
Fire pit with circular stone seating and log seats.

For anyone wishing to bring bikes we have ample secure storage in garage and/or shed.
